I loved Green Lake and was so excited to hear that Eris Renard would appear in another book. As I was reading, I was already thinking about starting it again as soon as I finished.
Epperson’s characters and writing style are quirky gems. When you’re bored by the same old formulaic plot and you’re looking for something out of the ordinary, read something (anything) by SKE.

If you have not read Green Lake prior to reading this book, read that one first. It will give you more insight into the story. I am a fan of S.K. Epperson because you just don’t know what is coming next and this story didn’t disappoint.
